We study the transport properties of a metallic ring threaded by a magnetic
flux varying linearly in time with a constriction and connected to
two external particle reservoirs. This setup contains as limiting cases the experimental arrangements used to define Kubo and Landauer conductances.
We employ a formalism based in Baym-Kadanoff-Keldysh non-equilibrium Green functions to
calculate the conductance of the system and the dissipated power. We compare
the transport behavior in different limits of the geometrical configuration.
