Two-band analysis on the upper critical field for superconductor NbS2

Based on two-band Ginzburg-Landau theory, we study the temperature and angular dependences of upper critical field for superconducting crystal NbS2. All the results fit the experimental data well. We thus conclude that NbS2 is another example of two-gap superconductors. Our calculations also indicate that the larger gap opens in the quasi-two-dimensional Nb-derived bands.
